| THE O.C. セレブたちが住むオレンジ・カウンティの高級住宅街ニューポート・ビーチを舞台にしたドラマ。 コーエン家は夫は弁護士でユダヤ系の家庭。彼は貧しい環境で育つものたちの力になる為に日夜 奔走していたが、あるときライアンという少年と出会い、彼の後見人となることになる。最初は反発して その風土に馴染めないでいる中で、奥手で友達づきあいの少ないコーエン家のセスと接していく ウチに少しずつ友情が芽生えていく。そしてコーエン家の隣に住むマリッサに恋に落ちていく。 しかし彼女は水球部のエースと付き合っており、高嶺の花だと思われていたが・・・
